Updates Part 2

Well, had my first day of school today, and it started shitty but ended nicely.

I had to go talk to a counsellor about geometry, since a $600 course that wouldn't hav e counted for shit towards graduation (aka 5 credits that couldn't count). GOod news is is that I don't need it, so I changed classes today~ It was also good I went in, because there was some trouble with my transcript because it said I passed Geometry, but I failed geometry too? It was worked out. I switched to the online Art 109 course with the same teacher I have for Computer Art 1. Art 109 doesn't start till September, and it's an online course, but that's good for me in the end.

My first class of the day is Theater, which today proved to be fun already. I just have to show up to class to get all that I need done. And see 2 plays (which is where our papers come from), but it's all good. The teacher's a nice lady, so I should hopefully score a B in there.

Second class is Astronomy in the planetarium. It's changed since I was a kid and last went. It's still the planetarium, but it's much smaller now and it's doubled as a classroom (the chairs are comfy though). It will be the toughest class I take this semester, but STILL better than Geometry.

Like I said, I'm taking Computer Art 1 this semester too. It's mixed with the computer art 2 class too, but it's near all the same stuff. I like out teacher, but even though he said he wants to see some of my stuff other than the classwork (when I mentioned I used a differnt art program that what we have to use in class), I'm not gunna. But it looks like I can use my graphics tablet for the class, so hopefully I can get my new battery soon for it. We're on our first project, but I'll post those when I get them done, but we have a 2-3 week time limit for them.

I wonder how Art 109 is going to be. It's an online course with the same teacher from Comp Art, but I'm guessing it's more of an Art History Course than anything else (I was listening in on another art 109 class). It's late start, so I got a month until then. It's good I have the same teacher for both art classes, so if I have a question, I can go to him for it when I see him in person.

Today was a pretty good day, I hope the rest of the semester can be like this. I do wonder if I can start picking classes for next semester, just like save them on the website for quick pickings later on. I just want to be able to take my statistics course back in the morris office for my college. It's small and they give you lots of free food (I wish I could go this semester, but nextw ill do). I wish they offered more classes over there, at least history ones, because I have to pile my classes onto 2-3 days a week for the main campus or online (gas aint cheap and with road construction/winter it's hard to get to joliet from where I live.

Ah well~ If you just started school too, or have been going for a bit already, I hope it's been a good start for you guys too~
